2018 is almost in its wraps and I decided to give a review of my year. I hit many of my major goals but could have accomplished more. I’m learning more how to handle my resources and make me a better practitioner of business.
Nonetheless, it was a successful year. I started my public speaking career at the ASCAP “I Create Music Expo” which is one my highlights of 2018. My goal is to become a well known speaker in the entertainment and media fields. It’ll take a little to build such a brand, but we are going to this.
Putting on my first public speaking event was quite a challenge. A few things went wrong and I realized that it’s impossible for me to micro-manage every single detail. I learned event production is a not easy. Even for small events.
For 2019 the goal is simple: expand on my public speaking, create content for labels and music artists with my company Ajani Media, and get placements for music.
With the new year in the horizon I implore you to push harder. I hope everyone who watches this pursues their ambitions in life. Don’t succumb to fear. You may be able to impact your family, community, city or even the world with just an idea.
Remember you have one life. Keep on pushing. You never no where your ideas can go or become if you don’t take action and work toward them. I wish you much success in the new year.
